We are a group of young, energetic people (Ella, Agustin, Aymara, Elena, Massi, Mathias and Mursal - but many more participate in community meetings) living in Geneva, with interests encompassing arts, migration, activism and human rights.

We are looking for inspired committee members to help shape and create a festival in Geneva during the summer 2026. Everybody will be involved in curating the festival line up and in researching artists and collaborators for the events. The work we bring forward is all volunteer work that we strongly believe in. The engagement we are looking for will take around 3 hours a week, during which we will meet, discuss, brainstorm, eat, drink, create. There is a possibility of a symbolic remuneration in the event we get sufficient funding for the festival.

Community Outreach

This role focuses on building bridges. You’ll be responsible for reaching out to foyers, local organizations, and migrant-led groups to ensure active participation from communities directly affected by displacement and exile. Your goal is to make the festival as inclusive and representative as possible, by inviting those whose stories we aim to amplify.

Communications

You’ll be in charge of sharing our work with the world. This includes managing our social media accounts, promoting both our community gatherings and the main festival, and posting regularly on local platforms and newsletters.

Fundraising

To make this festival a reality, we need funding — and that’s where you come in. This role involves helping identify potential sponsors, collaborators, and funding opportunities (grants, donations, crowdfunding). You’ll work with us to write applications and creatively pitch the value of what we’re building together.
